Developmental Coaching - one to one
‘Virtual’ or ‘In-the-Room’ Delivery
The Courage and Spark® vertically-informed coaching approach stands as one of the most powerful transformational coaching processes available today and one of the very few that is grounded in a Gestalt-based methodology. This represents a next-generation approach to individual coaching and one that can be more adequate to the ever more challenging nature of leadership contexts.
In essence, this is coaching that’s tailored to the emerging needs and the vertical stage of development of the individual leader. Whilst working on strategic, relational and personal content, these challenges are simultaneously used as learning opportunities to think differently, and come at life, and leadership, differently. Strategic-level and relationship-focused coaching conversations tend to focus on current issues arising out of the leader’s role and responsibilities. The personal agenda can include inner-work themes such as relationship to self; goals, ambitions, hopes, fears, and questions that don’t go away; crises; intimate relationships; and a multitude of issues from both work and wider life contexts.
The parallel focus on content and the individual’s evolving way of being-in-the-world - how he or she understands themselves, others and the world - is the double-task of our coaching approach.

How some people have spoken about their Courage and Spark® coaching experience
“Subtle things are happening. I feel my mindset is shifting. My priorities are changing, and I’m having different conversations. I’m looking at things differently and from a different consciousness.”
“I used to judge everything by how productive I was being - how much I was getting done, how much I, and we, were achieving. Now I’m valuing ideas, my own and other people’s thinking. I’m recognising the importance of relationships and how people are feeling: not just what they’re doing”.
“Two years ago I had a very full agenda. Now it’s completely the opposite. I was captured - and now I’m free again. And, I’ve found my purpose. I will continue to be the CEO of this company but there’s something far more important now and it’s this - I want to devote my life to developing my consciousness, and developing my people”.
“I spend more time with other leaders and go looking for different perspectives from my own. My role as the CEO is changing. I’m spending far more time developing others - training, coaching, working with my leadership team - creating a new culture”.
“I always used to feel I was behind the pace - behind the game, in catch-up. I really feel now that I’ve caught up. I’ve got out of the everyday detail and have more time and energy to think. What else? Well I feel more self-aware, confident and conscious of my role-modelling as a leader. I can helicopter now - step outside of myself - and choose how to react rather than get triggered. I used to feel self-indulgent working on myself. That’s disappeared. I now see how valuable it’s been for me and the company”
'“ The shadow of worrying which used to effect everything, has lifted. I’m far more in touch with a sense calm and gratitude.”
“I needed to find myself again. I’d got lost. I now feel secure in myself again”.
“This has been a journey of healing, of self-acceptance, of learning to love myself. It’s been a gift”
”I used to start so many sentences with “I"; how irritating is that“?
“I’m learning to let go. Letting go of I”
“I believe this coaching space has been where my life has changed - one conversation at a time”.
